Kumbh Mela 2027: Every Kumbh Date This Year
2027 has two Kumbhs: Haridwar Kumbh, from Thursday 14 January to Tuesday 20 April 2027, and the main bathing season of the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha, with Amrit Snans on 2 August, 31 August and 11 and 12 September 2027.
Haridwar's eleven bathing days are listed on the official Haridwar Kumbh website, with no dated notice yet (Provisional). Nashik's dates are in the Kumbh Mela Authority's plan of 15 June 2026 (Official). Magh Mela dates come from the Hindu calendar (Expected).
Prayagraj holds its yearly Magh Mela, expected from 15 January to 6 March 2027; it is not a Kumbh. Ujjain's Simhastha is in 2028.

Nashik and Trimbakeshwar
The Simhastha opened on 31 October 2026 and runs into 2028, but its main bathing days are in 2027. The Kumbh Mela Authority’s plan puts the core mela period in June to September 2027. All five dates below are in that plan (Official).
| Date | Event | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Thursday 29 July 2027 | Nagar Pradakshina, a procession around the city; not a bathing day | Nashik |
| Monday 2 August 2027 | First Amrit Snan | Nashik and Trimbakeshwar |
| Tuesday 31 August 2027 | Second Amrit Snan | Nashik and Trimbakeshwar |
| Saturday 11 September 2027 | Third Amrit Snan | Ramkund, Nashik |
| Sunday 12 September 2027 | Third Amrit Snan | Kushavarta, Trimbakeshwar |
The plan is marked interim by the authority, so we recheck these dates against later notices. Every date from the opening to the close is on the Nashik Simhastha timeline. Plan with the Nashik Kumbh guide.
Prayagraj Magh Mela
Prayagraj holds a Magh Mela at the Sangam every year. In 2027 it is expected from Friday 15 January to Saturday 6 March 2027, with six main bathing days from the Hindu calendar. A Government of India tourism listing gives the same window. The mela authority had not published its own list when we checked.
It is not a Kumbh. Prayagraj’s last Kumbh was the Maha Kumbh 2025, and its next Ardh Kumbh is expected in 2031. The six days are on Magh Mela 2027 bathing days.
