Mauni Amavasya Snan: Saturday 6 February 2027
The Mauni Amavasya snan of Haridwar Kumbh 2027 falls on Saturday 6 February 2027. It is one of the eleven bathing days on the official Haridwar Kumbh website, not an Amrit Snan.
The date is listed on the official Haridwar Kumbh website (checked 18 October 2026); the mela administration first announced it in April 2026, as reported by PTI. No dated government notice listing it was found online. Tithi at sunrise: Magha Amavasya, from the Tirth panchang.
Mauni Amavasya is the new moon of the month of Magha. By tradition, many pilgrims keep silence (mauna) on this day until they have bathed. It usually draws large numbers of pilgrims; follow police and mela instructions on the day.
