The Ram Navami snan of Haridwar Kumbh 2027 falls on Thursday 15 April 2027. It is one of the eleven bathing days on the official Haridwar Kumbh website, not an Amrit Snan.
Ram Navami is the ninth day of the bright half of Chaitra. It marks the birth of Lord Rama and closes Chaitra Navratri. It comes the day after the Mesh Sankranti Amrit Snan.

What happens on the day
- Before the day: Ram Navami follows the main Amrit Snan by one day. The police traffic plan for the Amrit Snan had not been published when we checked; in 2021 the Kumbh traffic plan covered several days around the shahi snans, from 8 to 15 April, so check which days the 2027 plan covers.
- The tithi: Chaitra Shukla Navami at sunrise, until 1:20 pm, by the Tirth panchang for Haridwar. The Tirth calendar keeps Ram Navami on the day Navami prevails at midday, which is 15 April.
- Through the day: pilgrims bathe at Har Ki Pauri and the other ghats. The official Haridwar Kumbh website says the day is kept with temple worship, bhajans and a holy dip.
- At sunrise and sunset: Shri Ganga Sabha holds the Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri every day. No special timing has been published for 15 April; see the Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri.
