With respect
- The Prayagraj Mela Authority asks visitors to bathe only at ghats the mela administration authorises, and not to pollute the rivers with soap, detergent or puja material.11
- For Shravan 2026 the Mankameshwar temple made traditional dress compulsory in the sanctum and for jalabhishek: a dhoti for men, a saree or salwar suit for women, Prabhat Khabar reported.12
- The mela authority invites visitors to see akhara camps up close but publishes no photography rule. KumbhMela.info's guidance: ask at the camp before you photograph inside it.7
