Third Amrit Snan: Nashik 11 September, Trimbakeshwar 12 September 2027

The third and last Amrit Snan of the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha is split between the two centres: Ramkund in Nashik on Saturday 11 September 2027 and Kushavarta in Trimbakeshwar on Sunday 12 September 2027.

Officially confirmedChecked on Sun 18 Oct 2026

The dates are in the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority's plan of 15 June 2026, which the authority marks as interim and subject to change. Tithis: Bhadrapada Shukla Ekadashi and Bhadrapada Shukla Dwadashi (amanta), from the Tirth panchang.

By long tradition the Vaishnava akharas bathe at Ramkund in Nashik and the Shaiva akharas at Kushavarta in Trimbakeshwar, which is why the two centres have their own days.
