Official Kumbh Websites, Apps and Helplines

On 18 October 2026, Haridwar Kumbh 2027 had its own official website, haridwarkumbh.uk.gov.in, and the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority published its pages on the Nashik Divisional Commissioner's website. Ujjain Simhastha 2028 and Prayagraj Magh Mela 2027 had no official website of their own, and none of the four had an official app. In an emergency anywhere in India, call 112.

ProvisionalChecked on Mon 19 Oct 2026

Checked by the KumbhMela.info Editorial Team on the official sites on 18 October 2026. New websites, apps and helplines will appear as each mela gets closer, so look at the date beside each entry.

We opened every address and number on this page on the official site named beside it, and we list only what those sites publish. KumbhMela.info is an independent guide, not a government site. Before you pay anyone for a stay, a camp or a pass, read Is this Kumbh booking real?

Not announced yet

On 18 October 2026 none of these existed on an official site:

  • An official website or app for Ujjain Simhastha 2028.
  • A website, app or mela helpline for Prayagraj Magh Mela 2027.
  • A separate website or app for the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha. News reports in February and October 2026 described a KumbhDoot app and a Kumbh web portal as planned; the Authority’s pages did not link to either.
  • An app for Haridwar Kumbh 2027. The official site’s registration page says “Coming Soon”.
  • A Haridwar traffic plan. The site’s “Traffic Plan” link opens the mela map, which showed no traffic plan.
  • A mela control room number or a Kumbh helpline for any of the four.
  • Any pass, package or paid registration. None of the official pages above offered one.

We recheck this list and add each new official address with its date. To tell us about one we have missed, use contact and corrections.

How to tell an official site

Every official mela site we found ends in gov.in or nic.in. Read the end of the address, just before the first single slash.

  • gov.in is the Government of India’s domain. Under the Ministry of Electronics and IT’s 2019 guidelines it is for government bodies, and the National Informatics Centre (NIC) registers it. A state’s events and departments are given addresses under the state’s own zone, which is why the Haridwar site is haridwarkumbh.uk.gov.in (Uttarakhand) and the Nashik Authority’s pages are on divcomnashik.maharashtra.gov.in.
  • nic.in addresses are government sites built and hosted by NIC, such as the district sites haridwar.nic.in, ujjain.nic.in and prayagraj.nic.in.
  • Words such as kumbh, mela, official or gov earlier in an address do not make a site official. Nor does an ending such as .com, .org, .co.in or another .in name.
  • A site that calls itself “official” or “verified”, or sells passes, stays or tent bookings, is not proof of anything. The Home Ministry’s cyber crime centre has warned of fake websites, social media pages, WhatsApp accounts and paid search adverts that offer pilgrims stays and tours, and fake Maha Kumbh 2025 sites offered tent bookings near the Sangam.
  • A paid advert can appear above the official site in search results. Type the address yourself, or follow a link from a district site: haridwar.nic.in, for example, links to haridwarkumbh.uk.gov.in.
  • To report a suspicious site, or check one, use the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, cybercrime.gov.in, which has a “Report Suspect” option, or call 1930.

Then go through the six checks on Is this Kumbh booking real? before you pay anyone.

One number for every emergency: 112

112 is India’s single emergency number. It reaches police, fire, disaster and other emergency services, and the official Haridwar and Prayagraj pages list it. The district numbers above are for the district administration. On bathing days, follow police and mela instructions.
